Designed by Reiner Moll, flexport.21 meets the functional requirements for Hot Desking/Touch-Down workstations etc., and overcomes the alienation and de-motivation often caused by not providing the users with an assigned desk. It is an alternative solution to meet the demands of flexible working groups, mobility and new ways of working and still improve office space utilisation by up to 30%!
The concept is very simple! The "home port" consists of a static tower that contains an assigned user's PC, printer, files, personal effects etc., that can be secured, plus a mobile table. When the assigned user is absent the position can be used by others for "hot desking" or the tables clustered for team working and group meetings.

It can be applied to any type of working environment! In an open plan layout it is possible to eliminate the need for separate meeting facilities and thereby achieve a significant improvement in office space utilisation.
When the assigned user of a private office is absent, others can use the room for meetings without any loss of security or confidentiality. In a Home Office environment flexport.21 takes very little space, will not visibly impose itself on a room and the table remains available for other uses. And used in conjunction with the allavoro chair, creates a unique home office solution.
