Any modern, progressive organisation must recognise that human resources are its largest single investment and it's greatest asset.
The recognition of this principle is the pre-requisite to provide well designed products that are manufactured to the highest standards and which are specified, delivered and installed to the customer's complete satisfaction.
We demand open and honest dealings with our customers by all employees and sub-contractors, as this is the foundation on which job satisfaction is built. Equally, we treat our staff as intelligent, responsible adults and require them to contribute new ideas to further develop the business. As can be seen from our annual report, we have exceptionally high Sales and PBIT per employee and this is sustained by retaining customers well beyond the norm for our industry, due in part to the longevity of our products but primarily due to continuity of personnel and fair dealings.
We recruit personnel using only reputable agencies, having provided a very clear and concise job specification and without raising potential employees expectations beyond our capability to deliver. Regular performance reviews are undertaken where overall contribution is given a high priority, not just basic measurable performance. All personnel are clearly tasked and new duties and responsibilities are only allocated with enthusiastic acceptance.
Mauser is an Equal Opportunity employer and discrimination in any form is a dissmissable offence and discourtesy to colleagues is not tolerated.
All employees are fairly rewarded and enjoy the benefits of providing a good return to our shareholder.
It is the policy of the company to be a fair employer, offering all employees regular opportunities to air any grievances to Senior Management and to receive a considered response.
The Disciplinary and Grievance Procedure is laid down in Section 1, paragraph 10 of the Staff Handbook and in the event of a grievance this procedure is to be followed by both Employee and Management.
All employees are entitled and encouraged to be active members of a Trade Union or professional body relevant to their specific skills and professional discipline and reasonable paid leave will be allowed to attend meetings and special conferences of these organisations to which the employee is a full registered member.
